My Kind of Rodeo

This weekend Aug. 13 we got to go to Prescott AZ and go to The Worlds Oldest Rodeo (so they say). So we used our handy dandy GPS which took us the shortest distance through town but we ended up taking all these little roads and going left right left. I was afraid we were lost .......but at last our GPS got us there. Oh did I mention our GPS hasn't been updated since we have had it :) Come to find out all we had to do was go straight down the highway make one right turn and there it was right down the road :)
The sign going into the rodeo.
This is for all you single ladies out there. This is the line up of the bull riders.
Me and the hubby!
OK a little blurry but pretty good shot for a phone camera. This is one of the guys that won. Weirdly enough it was a tie. I called for a tie breaker but i guess not. and guess what a guy from Idaho Falls, ID came in second. That is right the Idaho boy getting it done!
It was so fun! I felt like I was home. The weather was so much cooler and we enjoyed every minute of it!
This was as close as I got to the Bulls. There was one that was named Goliath and did his name fit him well he was HUGE! I wish I could have got a pic.

The bull riding was so fun and super nice to get away and go somewhere especially cause it was about 20 degrees cooler and more of my kind of scenery.
